“At my deepest core, I am a storyteller.”

'the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink'
With its rich tapestry of musical styles that range from hip-hop and classic soul to sweet pop and funk, Rosehardt continues striving to be his truest self on the sterling new album the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink.
His sound is spontaneous and cathartic, while also betraying a calculating pop genius. It's addictive and familiar, hitting the body like the novel and restless urges that turbo-charged the blues into rock and R&B.
Led by the gently percussive, ‘90s-spiced opening single “Hunted,” the set offers compelling tales of love and emotional growth through the lens of a young black man during these ever-turbulent times. It is produced by Rosehardt, with Space People and Joy Morales (with additional production by Wynne Bennett on “Satellites” and “808 SHIMMY”).
“In the present, when I listen through these songs, they feel like simple yet colorful snapshot expressions of larger existential conversations I have with myself every day; ones that allow me a glimpse at the person.”
A deep dive into the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink reveals an affecting contrast of complex groove and melodies with sensitive, often intense lyrics. The opening song, “i don’t have much time,” elegantly addresses the fragility of life, informed in part by the loss of Rosehardt’s father to Alzheimer's disease. “His illness has touched a lot of what I do. It has been a deeply significant part of my life.”
An expanded “deluxe” edition of ‘the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink’ is planned for early 2025, featuring several remixes and a brand-new song. Rosehardt is also prepping for a series of club dates to follow.
Beyond his musical pursuits, Rosehardt maintains a thriving career as an actor. He was featured in the successful 2024 Broadway revival of the Henrik Ibsen’s classic play An Enemy of the People, sharing the stage with Jeremy Strong (Succession) and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos).
